Your wallet, your address, the right network

An address is the starting point

Your public Ethereum address begins with 0x. It is the identifier used to receive tokens and inspect public balances. It is different from a private key, recovery phrase, password or passkey. Those are ways to control an account and should never be pasted into a CRSN page.

A wallet is the interface you use to interact with your account. The balances are recorded on the network, rather than being files stored inside the app. Ethereum’s wallet guide explains that distinction.

Match three things

When checking CRSN, match the network, the receiving address and the token contract. A familiar logo or symbol is not enough; another token can use the same name.

• Network: Ethereum mainnet, chain ID 1.
• Token: CRSN, with 18 decimals.
• Contract: use the full address in the official reference list.

ETH displayed on another network is not automatically available to pay an Ethereum mainnet transaction. The same 0x address can exist on both networks while the balances differ. CRSN’s private rooms only count the CRSN contract on Ethereum mainnet.

Receiving a token and seeing it are different

A newly created token may not immediately appear in a wallet’s asset list or have a dollar estimate. That display does not decide ownership. First use the public wallet lookup or the linked Ethereum explorer to check the exact token balance.

If the network record shows CRSN but the wallet hides it, follow your wallet provider’s token-display guidance. Do not send the tokens elsewhere simply to make an icon appear. The exchange app and a self-custody wallet can have very different rules about supported assets.

Read the action in front of you

Connecting a wallet lets an application request an address. Signing the CRSN membership message proves control of that address. Trading or transferring tokens is a different action with different consequences. The member page never requires a token-spending approval to unlock a room.

Ethereum transactions require network fees paid in ETH. A regular off-chain message signature does not itself submit a transaction. Some wallet account setup flows can have separate requirements, so read every wallet prompt rather than assuming all prompts are the same. Learn how Ethereum network fees work.

If the balance looks wrong

Compare the full address shown by the wallet with the address shown by the site. Confirm Ethereum mainnet. Refresh the public lookup after the transaction confirms.
