30 terms

AddressWallets

A public identifier, usually beginning with 0x on Ethereum, used to identify an account or contract. A public address is not a recovery phrase.

AllowanceWallets

Permission for a specific spender to transfer up to a token amount. CRSN membership verification does not require an allowance.

BackstageMembership

The CRSN tier beginning at 84 million tokens. It includes Backstage and Listener room access, plus eligible published releases.

BadgeMembership

A label on your CRSN member profile showing your eligible tier. It is not a separately minted NFT.

BalanceTokens

The quantity of CRSN recorded for an address. It is different from an estimated dollar value.

BlockEthereum

A recorded group of network transactions. A balance or reserve check can be tied to a particular block.

Chain IDEthereum

A number identifying a network for applications. Ethereum mainnet uses chain ID 1.

ContractTokens

A program at a blockchain address. The full CRSN contract address identifies this token more reliably than its name or icon.

DecimalsTokens

The number of decimal places used to display a token’s units. CRSN has 18; this does not multiply the one-billion whole-token supply.

ERC-20Tokens

A common Ethereum token interface for balances, transfers and allowances. CRSN follows this standard.

ETHEthereum

Ethereum’s native asset, used for network fees. ETH and the CRSN token are different assets.

GasEthereum

The network cost of processing a transaction. The actual cost depends on the work performed and prevailing fees.

Inner CircleMembership

The CRSN tier beginning at 170 million tokens. It includes all three private rooms and eligible releases from all tiers.

LiquidityMarkets

Assets available in a trading pool. More token units in a project’s total supply does not automatically mean more trading liquidity.

Liquidity positionMarkets

The claim a liquidity provider has on pool assets. The CRSN founder holds the initial position and can withdraw its assets, apart from the protocol minimum.

ListenerMembership

The first CRSN tier, beginning at 34 million tokens. It opens the private Toonskull Lounge and eligible Listener releases.

MainnetEthereum

The live network where real assets and fees are used. CRSN’s contract is on Ethereum mainnet.

Message signatureWallets

A cryptographic proof over a message. In the CRSN member flow it proves control of the linked wallet; other signatures can authorize different actions.

MP3Music

The audio file format accepted by the CRSN vault. Owner uploads are limited to 20 MB per file.

NonceWallets

A value used once. The membership challenge includes a fresh nonce so an old proof cannot simply be submitted again.

Price impactMarkets

The effect your trade has on the exchange rate in the pool. A large trade relative to the reserves can change the rate substantially.

Private roomMembership

A conversation accessible to eligible verified members and the owner. It is moderated and is not end-to-end encrypted.

Recovery phraseWallets

Secret recovery material used by some wallets. CRSN pages and room moderators never need it.

ReservesMarkets

The quantities of each asset currently held by a pool. The CRSN market pairs CRSN with WETH.

SlippageMarkets

The difference between the quoted and executed result. Slippage tolerance sets a limit on accepted movement; it does not remove price impact.

Spot valueMarkets

An estimate using the pool’s current marginal ratio. It is not a guarantee of purchase cost or sale proceeds for a whole holding.

SupplyTokens

The quantity of token units that exists. CRSN’s fixed total supply is one billion whole tokens.

Transaction hashEthereum

The identifier used to look up a submitted transaction and its network status. It does not reveal a recovery phrase.

VaultMusic

The protected part of CRSN Members where eligible published tracks can be played. A vault exists before any music has been uploaded.

WETHEthereum

Wrapped ETH, the token form of ETH used inside this Uniswap v2 pair. The public trade interface can handle wrapping as part of a route.
